Annual Sports Meet
This is held on the Ashram’s own play ground every year. The events are followed by distribution of prizes.
Foundation Day
The most colorful programme of the Ashram. This is celebrated every year on the 17th February. Most of the inmates were accommodated to take part in the various events, like March-past, Parade, Musical drill, Skits, Music, Dance, Recitation and an Exhibition cum Sales of the Handicrafts , produced during their training. This function is attended by the distinguished guests, Govt officials, members and the guardians of the inmates.
Annual Prize Distribution for the academic excellence
This is carried out along with the foundation day programme.
“Kanak lata’ Challenge Trophy “ awarded to the Best Ward of Bhagirathi Shilpasram for the year on the evaluation of their performance throughout the year.
The “Sports Champion Trophy “ in the name of the Late Bengali Author Ashutosh Mukhopadhyay & his wife Mamata Mukhopadhyay is awarded to the highest point winner in sports.
Teachers’ services are acknowledged with token gifts.
National Events: Independence Day, Republic Day, Birthdays of Great Personalities of our country are celebrated in the Ashram.
